If you are craving something sweet with just a few ingredients but want to keep it on the healthier side look no further than this Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bark! I was craving a sweet treat earlier this week and I looked up some healthy recipes online and this one caught my eye. This recipe has the perfect balance between sweet and savory, creamy and crunchy, and best of all, it is super easy to make.

All you need for this recipe are a few basic ingredients. You will need bananas, chocolate chips, and peanut butter. First, you want to get out a piece of parchment paper and slice up a few bananas into the shape of a coin, and place it onto the paper. After you slice the bananas you want to take a few scoops of peanut butter and put it into a microwavable bowl and heat it up for 20 seconds and repeat until the peanut butter is nice and creamy. Once the peanut butter is heated up you want to spread it on each slice of the banana. Then you want to put the bananas into the freezer for about 6 minutes so the peanut butter can harden up a little bit. After the bananas are done freezing for 6 minutes you want to put a good amount of chocolate chips into a bowl and heat them up for 20 seconds and repeat until the chocolate is melted. You will then spread the chocolate on top of the peanut butter evenly, making sure that the top of the banana is fully covered. Lastly, you will place the bananas back into the freezer for at least 6 minutes so the chocolate can harden up, and it's ready to eat!

What I love about this recipe is how customizable it is. If you want to add a little extra, sprinkle in some sea salad, coconut flakes, or any other ingredient to give it some extra flavor. You can make this in a big batch and keep it stored to eat later or just make enough to eat at once. This is a perfect recipe for when the late-night cravings kick in and a better option than eating a pint of ice cream. Not only is the recipe super easy to make but it is packed with ingredients that are good for you. Trust me, this is a recipe you will want to keep!
