The Best Homemade Burrito


Chicken chipotle ranch burritos are one of my favorite meals to make at home. They are delicious and perfect for a quick meal that doesn't miss out on any flavor. Today I have to cheer at a basketball game and this meal is perfect for game days. With hearty ingredients like grilled chicken and shredded cheese, it's filling enough to keep you energized throughout the game. 

There are only a few ingredients you need for this recipe, making it really easy and quick to make. The ingredients you need are grilled chicken, a large tortilla, lettuce, shredded cheese, and chipotle ranch sauce. Being by preparing your chicken, which should be seasoned and grilled until it is juicy and tender. Then, you want to slice or cut up the chicken into small, bite-size pieces so it can fit in the tortilla. 

Next, you want to assemble the burrito. Start by placing the tortilla in the microwave for 15 seconds to ensure it is soft and easy to roll. Once the tortilla is heated up you want to drizzle a layer of chipotle ranch sauce to the base of the tortilla, then a layer of lettuce, followed by an even layer of shredded cheese. Then you want to add your grilled chicken on top of the cheese and then drizzle another layer of chipotle ranch sauce for some extra flavor. Once all the ingredients are in the tortilla you want to roll it up and form a burrito. To do this you want to fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top, ensuring all the ingredients are secure. 

After the tortilla is rolled up, I like to throw the burrito onto a pan and let it heat up for a few minutes to create a nice and crispy exterior texture. The result is an extremely satisfying, flavor-packed, burrito that is great for any time of the day, especially on game days. This can be paired with a side of tortilla chips and some sort of dip, or enjoy it on its own. This is hands down my favorite meal to make and I hope this inspires you to try it for yourself!
